Immigration Bill

On February 21st, the bill for a managed immigration and the right to asylum was presented to the Council of Ministers.

With regard to the economic migration, the main objectives of the bill are:

• To improve the conditions for incoming foreign talent, notably highly qualified professionals through a multi-year « Talent Passport » resident’s permit, which should be extended to salaried employees of innovative companies;
• To strengthen France’s capacity to attract the profiles contributing to the economic dynamism and to the linguistic and cultural development.
