In accordance with the provisions of the law no. 2004-575 “pour la confiance dans l’économie numérique” (Confidence in the Digital Economy Act) dated June 21st, 2004, the editor of this website is: Business France which is an industrial and commercial public body registered in the Commercial Register of Paris under the number 451.930.051 and whose head office is located at 77 bd Saint-Jacques, 75998 Paris Cedex 14 (phone number: +33 1 40 73 30 00).

The editorial director of the present website is Christophe Lecourtier, CEO (Chief Executive Officer).

The personal data collected are subject to a processing for Business France to insure its assignments in the framework of the French public program for supporting the international development of the French economy.

Personal data are kept for the longest duration of the two durations indicated below:

  • One year from your request.
  • The period required for the purpose for which they are collected.

This corresponds to the duration of the contract increased where necessary by the statutory requirements period, and also ensures the respect of the legal or regulatory requirements compulsory for Business France. The personal data collected are intended for Business France corporate services, offices and partners (notably French regional authorities, other local authorities, their operators and the Chambers of Commerce and Industry), some of which are located outside of the European Union; and, when it’s necessary for your request, for the French government.

In application of the law no. 78-17 “relative à l’informatique, aux fichiers et aux libertés” (Information Technology, Computer Files and Freedom Act) amended dated January 6th, 1978 and of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on April 27, 2016, the information relating to the processing of your personal data and the exercise of your rights (access, change, remove, objection, etc.…) are available in the terms and general conditions of sales of Business France.
